The massive building in the background is the "new" Paris opera house. At the end of this clip Montevallo colleagues may notice a familiar marcher in sunglasses and green coat. Thanks to my sister Kristi for posting these videos...

Thanks for providing me with the link to your blog; I have been following along with your entries--fascinating observations and reflections! Especially in recent days--what an exciting time (for an 'interested onlooker') to be in France. I have been following along with the protests in the news, but you have provided color, detail, and context which can't be found in the press. An excellent idea--blogging your experiences! I hope all else is going well for you.
